This sort of robot platform is perhaps
the best design for precise navigation on even ground. The 4 wheels must
steer and drive together. To build it with Lego-bricks you should have
the turnable platform piece No.9876. Here our first result.
For exact steering, you should add
the Lego rotation sensor.
