Synchro Drive

This sort of robot platform is perhaps the best design for precise navigation on even ground. The 4 wheels must steer and drive together. To build it with Lego-bricks you should have the turnable platform piece No.9876. Here our first result.

For exact steering, you should add the Lego rotation sensor.

Use this part twice.

This is Benoît's improvement for the wheel support. The actual design isn't precise zero-turning.
